Materials: Play-dough, ground pepper, mustard seed, hot glue, paper Filtered Images Background Image: Digital drawing, 2020 Inspiration " Undertale " created by Toby Fox Artist Statement This sculpture is based off an indie video game titled “Undertale.” I was inspired by the underground cavern that is portrayed in this game. The cavern is significant because the space is associated with sensations of serenity, and solitude. Such a moment of peace and reflection are simulated in my sculpture. The main statue sits alone, surrounded by stalagmites and mushrooms, overlooking the calm water to mirror the feelings of isolation. The glue running down the stalagmite’s pillars mimics the water trickling down the rocky surface in this damp and secluded environment. This sculpture pushed me to act more boldly and experiment with a variety of different materials. I used ground pepper
